Membership in MVLA Service League of Boys (SLOBs) is open to all 7th - 12th grade boys living in Mountain View, Los Altos and Los Altos Hills and their parents or guardians. The service year runs from August 1 - July 31 of a given year.
Each member of SLOBs is expected to contribute a minimum of 10 hours of service to SLOBs approved philanthropies. A parent is asked to provide a minimum of 5 hours of service to SLOBs approved philanthropies, but encouraged to complete all hours with their son(s).
Each member of SLOBs is expected to attend all 5 meetings during the year. One absence is allowed. If you miss more than one meeting, you must make up the absence by working 2 extra service hours. A parent must attend at least 2 of the 5 meetings, preferably all of them.
Annual dues are $75 for each member, payable online during membership registration or renewal. Please note that payments are accepted through Los Altos Community Foundation (LACF), our sponsoring organization.

Covid Waiver and Health Screening Form

- Our sponsoring organization, Los Altos Community Foundation (LACF) is now requiring a yearly covid waiver along with a covid screening form, prior to arrival at each event.
- Fill out one form per adult (and several minors is permissible). There are multiple lines for children's names to be entered. Please note, each adult in the family must still sign their own form.
Covid Screening Form
- This form must be completed by all members (boys and parent) within 12 hours of each event attended.
- If done sooner, the waiver will be void.
